Following the success of the Mayor’s first matinee screening for children, we have decided to follow his example. The next two films are as follows:
Saturday 2nd April – How to Train your Dragon (PG) at 4pm
Saturday 4th June – Despicable Me (U) at 3pm
For full details, please see the Cinema page. If you would like to receive our regular newsletters, please enter your details on the Mailing List page.
Yes indeed! After the success of the Mayor’s initiative to bring the cinema back to Frinton, we have undertaken to continue with regular screenings. We hope to show mainly film adaptations of books (as this seems only logical!) and there are some great ones to look forward to including Brighton Rock and Never Let Me Go.
The next two films are as follows:
• Saturday 2nd April – Love in the Time of Cholera – There are still some free World Book Night Books available for this on booking until they run out!
• Saturday 4th June – The King’s Speech.
Screenings will be at 7.30pm in the McGrigor Hall. Tickets – £7 from us.
Many of you will know Martin for his poetry and Saturday column in the East Anglian Daily Times, but here he is being published in the States singing the praises of Frinton AND Caxton Books! A big thank you to Martin from us!!
